Sodium cyclamate (SO-dee-um SYE-kla-mate) is a white, crystal solid or powder with almost no odor and a very sweet taste. Its sweetening power is about 30 times that of table sugar, the standard against which artificial sweeteners are measured.

Sodium Cyclamate is accessible in white crystalline form. It has more than 300 degree C melting point and it can be diluted in water. Its vapour density ranges between 0.6 kg/l to 0.7 kg/l. With having 99% purity level, this sweetener is appreciated for its long storage life. Physical properties of Sodium Cyclamate remain unaffected when exposed to alkali, acid and heat.
